Hello,

I am an educator and a scientist who is interested in how people perceive and interact with smart and social technologies such as social robotics, generative AI, and health wearables.

I have a particular focus on the experiences of young children and families with lived experiences of pediatric anxiety and dementia.

I am currently a Lecturer in Psychology at the University of British Columbia where I teach courses on the biological and cognitive aspects of Psychology.

I was previously a Postdoctoral Fellow in Patient Experience in the Neuroscience, Engagement, and Smart Tech Lab (NEST lab) at the University of British Columbia and BC Children’s Hospital.

I am an Affiliate Member of the Women's Health Research Institute at BC Women’s Hospital, a trainee at Neuroethics Canada, and highly qualified personnel with AGE-WELL NCE.

My publications are available on Google Scholar and some of my study materials are available on OSF.
